Through the many years of developing this festival with teachers and re-visiting participants we are happy that an easeful and dance-focussed tone swings around this event.
We’ll meet to dance, to learn and to research together in the field of contact improvisation in a light spirit that fosters depths and curiosity with the desire to create connections on many levels – in the body, to the dance-partners and beyond.
Contemporary Dance feeds our festival with movement technique and compositional knowledge to open the contact practice to a wider scale of improvisation.
A cosy environment to hang out and a nice public pool around the corner give space for needs that go beyond the dance – and make ‘cmc’ a real summer festival.
