Anat and Joerg are sharing rich dances and want to make parts of the magic they find available in the Workshop.
The joy of flow, momentum & surprise is rooted in detailed perception and the willingness to move very slowly for longer times with an awake mind. We get a lot of pleasure out of being able to switch between rather different states – practicing openess for unexpected changes.
The concrete content of the Workshop is a living thing and will develop while teaching.

We’ll share some basics of Contact technique around giving & taking weight and aspects of the communication through touch.
There will be a mix of detailed excecises and more open frames to explore and dance … and dance and dance.

All experience levels are welcome. You just need to have an idea, what contact improvisation is. If you are completely new to the form, please get in touch with Anat and come to a Contact Jam beforehand, so you know what you are diving into.

Joerg Hassmann
Inspired by contact improvisation since more than 25 years as a way to understand and celebrate the moving body and human communcation. Many kinds of sports, release techniques, somatic work, instant composition and creating dance and theater performances have informed his dance and his teaching. As the artistic director Joerg is involved in the CI festival Contact-meets-Contemporary. Together with Daniel Werner he developed a systematic approach to Contact Technique that they tought for 12 years in Training Programmes in Berlin and throughout Europe. Anat Greenberg
Exploration of the physical body and movement has always been a part of my life. My journey started young as a Gymnast and led me later into contemporary dance, Contact Improvisation, Yoga, Capoeira, Pilates, Body-mind centering, authentic movement, Ilan Lev method and more..
Teaching pilates since 2004, matt work and reformer.
Since first discovering CI 15 Years ago it has become a vast source of my Inspiration, Passion, Joy, and personal growth…and still is. Dancing professionally and later teaching Dance, Improv, and CI to different Ages and groups for over 10 years.
