GETTING RIDES
„rides“ are siblings of „lifts“ with an emphasise on travelling together, and keeping the flow of the dance. There is a sense of flying, shared flow, meeting the other without interrupting them, joining in, moving through.
Lots of rewarding ingredients are part of this „getting rides“ idea: Smoothly pouring weight, reading the other ones dance with its timing and direction, bringing stability and flow together, exploring the universes of relating without touch, light touch and shared weight.
Tone and speed naturally effect each other and we are interested in exploring that connection in duets and in group improvisation.
In this Workshop skill building will be balanced with nourishing somatic work and open dance formats to feed our sense of aliveness and connection.

$250 normal
$220 concession rate
$280 supporting others
**A warm vegan lunch on Saturday and a snack on Sunday is included in the fee.
We don’t want money to be a restricting factor for people to join the workshop. If the reduced fee is still too much then please contact Anat. We have a few places reserved, where you pay what you can.
